For more than 15 years, ElectricAce has had the privilege of working with Rick “The Zolz” Zolzer : a familiar voice in Hudson Valley sports, radio, community events, and local life.

This partnership has never been only about business.

It has been about showing up.

Showing up for kids. Showing up for families. Showing up for local athletes, coaches, volunteers, fans, businesses, and neighbors. And showing up for the Hudson Valley communities that have supported ElectricAce for decades.

From Rhinebeck and Red Hook across Dutchess and Columbia counties, and throughout Ulster, Greene, and Orange counties, ElectricAce is proud to celebrate a relationship built on shared values, lasting trust, and a genuine belief in the power of community.

A PARTNERSHIP BUILT OVER 15+ YEARS

Nick and the ElectricAce team have worked with Rick Zolzer for more than 15 years. Over that time, the relationship has grown through countless conversations, community events, sponsorships, sports seasons, and local initiatives.

Some partnerships begin with a single project.

This one grew through years of common purpose.

Rick : known to many as “The Zolz” : has spent much of his career connecting people through sports and entertainment. As a longtime voice of the Hudson Valley Renegades and a recognizable Hudson Valley radio personality, he has a unique ability to bring people together.

ElectricAce has been proud to support that work.

Not for the spotlight. Not for a promotional moment. Because community involvement is part of who we are.

SUPPORTING PITCH FOR KIDS

One of the most meaningful parts of this relationship has been ElectricAce’s support of events connected to the Pitch for Kids Foundation.

Established by the Hudson Valley Renegades in 1999, Pitch for Kids was created to benefit children and families throughout the Hudson Valley. The foundation supports community initiatives and helps bring resources, experiences, and opportunities to children who need them.

That mission matters.

Kids deserve safe places to play, positive role models, memorable experiences, and the chance to feel connected to something bigger than themselves. Sports can provide all of that : and more. A baseball field, a golf course, a school gym, or a community event can become a place where confidence grows, friendships begin, and a child discovers what they are capable of doing.

ElectricAce has sponsored Pitch for Kids events over the years because the work reaches beyond one game or one afternoon.

It creates momentum.

It creates connection.

And sometimes, it creates a memory that stays with a child for life.

Rick has played an important role in organizing and promoting community-focused activities through Pitch for Kids. His commitment to children and families is evident in the energy he brings to every event : whether he is behind a microphone, welcoming guests, supporting a fundraiser, or helping shine a light on the people doing important work across the region.

GOLF TOURNAMENTS, TURKEY BOWLS, AND LOCAL TRADITIONS

For years, ElectricAce has been a main line sponsor of golf tournaments and Turkey Bowls connected to Rick’s community efforts.

A Turkey Bowl brings a different kind of energy. It is spirited, seasonal, and often wonderfully informal. The weather may not cooperate. The games may get intense. Somebody always has a strong opinion about the rules.

These events are successful because they feel personal. They are not distant, formal fundraisers. They are local gatherings where people contribute their time, energy, sponsorship, and enthusiasm to help children and families in their own backyard.

Rick Zolzer has built a career around communication.

That wide-ranging approach feels very much like Rick.

After more than 15 years of shared community work, ElectricAce is proud to now support Rick’s radio show.
